Whipped Feta Spread
Prep time: 5 minutes
In a food processor or blender jar, pulse the garlic clove until minced. Add the Real California feta cheese, Real California Greek yogurt, and black pepper. Blend or process until very smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary.
This spread can be made in advance and stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days. The spread will thicken up a bit after being stored in the fridge, but will still be a spreadable consistency.

Cheese Toast
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 6 minutes
Preheat the broiler to high and line a quarter sheet pan with aluminum foil, set aside.
Butter one side of each of the pieces of bread. Place buttered side up on the prepared sheet pan. Toast under the broiler until the edges are turning golden brown, about 1 1/2 - 2 minutes.
Carefully spread 2 tablespoons of the Whipped Real California Feta Spread onto each piece of toasted bread. Place the pan back under the broiler for an additional 1 minute.
Top each of the pieces of toast with 1/4 cup of the shredded Real California sharp Cheddar cheese, slices of jalapeño, sliced prunes, and chopped bacon if using. Broil for an additional 3-4 minutes, watching carefully until the cheddar cheese has melted and is starting to brown, and the peppers are fragrant. Serve immediately.
