1. Wrap the sweet potato in a damp paper towel and microwave on high until very soft, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and mash with a potato masher. Measure out 3/4 cup mashed sweet potato (save remainder for another use) and set aside to cool.
2. If using the Ninja Foodi Power Pitcher, install the dough blade in the 72-ounce Power Pitcher. If using a food processor, fit it with a cutting blade. Place the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and allspice in the pitcher or food processor. For the Power Pitcher, use Manual Speed 1, select START/STOP, and blend briefly to combine. For a food processor, pulse briefly to combine.
3. Add the butter and install the lid. For the Power Pitcher, use Manual Speed 1, select START/STOP, and blend until the butter is in pea-sized pieces. For a food processor, pulse until the butter is in pea-sized pieces.
4. Add the sweet potato and buttermilk and install the lid. For the Power Pitcher, use Manual Speed 1, select START/STOP, and blend until the mixture just comes together, 10 to 15 seconds. For a food processor, pulse until the mixture just comes together.
5. Remove dough from pitcher or food processor to a well-floured surface, sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top, and gently knead a few times until the mixture comes together and the bacon is incorporated.
6. Pat the dough to a thickness of about 3/4 inch, then use a floured 1 3/4-inch biscuit cutter to make 16 biscuits, gathering the scraps and gently patting together again as needed.
7. If using the Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill, remove the crisper basket and grill grate and close the hood. Select BAKE, set the temperature to 325°F, and set the time to 9 minutes. Select START/STOP to begin preheating. If using a conventional oven, preheat the oven to 400°F.
8. When the grill or oven is preheated, arrange half of the biscuits evenly in the cooking pot or arrange all of the biscuits on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Cook until lightly browned, 7 to 9 minutes in the grill and 14 to 16 minutes in the oven.
9. Repeat with remaining biscuits.
10. While the biscuits are cooking, make the hot pepper honey butter: In a medium bowl, combine the butter, honey, and hot pepper sauce. Add more hot pepper sauce to taste.
11. Serve the biscuits with the hot pepper honey butter.
